Hello from Southeast Alaska,
Happy 4th of July! We had a great week this week with mr. Steve Stock representing team Guy Harvey! Fishing and cruising from Sitka we made our way north to the small town of Pelican for the fireworks and party at world famous Rosie’s Bar! We began the week with red hot salmon fishing landing numerous King and Coho Salmon. The first day we even had the rare occasion to land a salmon grad slam when the guys caught one of all of the five species of salmon!! As the week progressed we had some of the best bottom fishing of the year landing many good size keeper halibut and releasing many xxl Ling cod. The crew also had the opportunity to do some good shrimping! The highlight of the week was a stop in the small town of Pelican. Pelican is a remote community on the north side of Chichagof Island. With less than 50 year round residents folks from all over Southeast converge on this small town to celebrate the 4th of July! What a week of adventure and excitement! Please enjoy the photos.
